General Election - FFRGOC Board of Directors for 2019-2020

Looking forward to a better future for our organization, FFRGOC General Election was held at Holy Family Church, Seal Beach California last November 11, 2019.

We started with a prayer led by our counselor, Father Juan Caboboy and the food sponsored by FFRGOC and fruits brought by members from their backyards were shared and enjoyed by everyone.

COMELEC was presided by Mel Gallardo, our seasoned Chairperson and Ernie Delfin as Vice Chairperson and Chapter Director Lynn Maglalang as Secretary. Other Chapter Directors Carmi Costa, Malou Aguinaldo who was not present, Wilma Romanoc and Raoul Beltran were part of the COMELEC.

Election ran smoothly and started with the position of the President , First Vice-President for Internal Affairs, Second Vice-President for External Affairs, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Auditor, Director of Social Services, Director of Charity, Director of Youth and Public Relations Officer. These positions are all part of the Board of Directors of our non-profit organization.

Slide presentation detailed the responsibilities of each position and people who nominated the candidate introduced their candidate plus the candidate spoke also about himself or herself. Votes were made by those eligible to vote including the proxy votes held by the voters representing those who were not present. Counts were made to determine the winners of the General Election.

An email was sent by the current President, Debbie Gonzales to all eligible voters the Election Reference Guide per FFRGOC bylaws.

After declaring the winners, pictures were taken and meeting was closed by a prayer led by Father Juan Caboboy.

All the elected members of the Board of Directors came from different professional backgrounds and committed themselves for two years to serve the community and adapted this mantra: "Do your best and God will do the rest".
