Typical sharing of food in one of FFRGOC events among the Board Officers and members
As a non-profit organization, FFRGOC helps the needy from children to adults through Orange County Rescue Mission whose main goal as shown on their website is to help overcome homelessness and become self-sufficient. For years, on a quarterly basis, FFRGOC made the commitment to provide and serve meals, Filipino cuisine, they particularly request through our Director of Charity, Wally Claudio.
Volunteers, from our organization from Board Officers and Area Chairpersons and its members, devoted time to cook or order and provide hot rice, pancit bihon, and chicken adobo which the recipients really like as compared to the normal American or other cuisines. Chapters/Areas officers and members, who were assigned and gladly volunteered, served and provided the meals during the whole year of 2025.
Shown below are the dates and chapters/areas who served the meals:
First Quarter - May 29, 2025 Southwest Chapter/Area Officers and members - Rica Werner
Second Quarter - June 21, 2025 South Chapter/Area Officers and members - Amie Ursubia
Third Quarter - August 30, 2025 Northeast/Central West Chapter/Area Officers and members - Evelyn Ruiz and Lu Katimbang
Fourth Quarter - November 29, 2025 Northwest/Central East Chapter/Area Officers and members - Vita Valentin and Lourdes Gutchneckt
Below are some pictures, courtesy of Wally Claudio , of volunteers who served the meals at Orange County Rescue Mission.

This is one project that FFRGOC serves the local community and very pleased that all of us can provide some meals to the needy.
Last but not least, FFRGOC board/area officers and members, also on a yearly basis, provide entertainment and food to our young adults and have a Christmas party for this organization Orangewood Children's Home, whose website is https://oc4kids.com/
We bring karaoke machine so they can have fun singing and doing artistic crafts and we make an effort to be their family on this very important occasion.
FFRGOC Board officers and members donate also Christmas gifts to make everyone happy and feel the part of belonging with a family they unfortunately don't have or cannot be with them on one of most important holidays in their lives.
All of us in FFRGOC organization are pleased that we can at least make a difference to these children and adults who need assistance.
